This article provides Release Note details about updates, improvements, and bug fixes for Version 1.1.08.28 of BlueberryCMS released on August 31, 2022.

New Features

• {{blogPostFeaturedImageAlt}} tag: Created {{blogPostFeaturedImageAlt}} tag to render the alt text for a Post's Featured Image to help SEO ranking.
• {bb_privacypolicy} module: Created {bb_privacypolicy} module to display the Privacy Policy notice. Visit {bb_privacypolicy} documentation.
• Page Templates: Created a popup notice when user deletes a Page Template that is assigned to any Web Page(s).
• Data Collection: Add the ability to select a Page Template for each Data Collection item.
• Web Forms: Added new 'Confirmation Page' column in Web Forms table to make it easier to verify important information about a Web Form.
• Blogs: Added an ALT text field for a Blog Post's Featured Image to improve SEO.
• Web Pages: Changed "Default Web Page" designation from text to an icon.
• Web Pages: Added a lock icon to Web Page(s) that are assigned to a Secure Zone.
• Text Editor: Added Italic; Strikethrough; and Line options to WYSIWYG SummerNote text editor throughout the platform.
• Date Pickers: Added "Today's Date" button at the bottom for Date Picker in backend portals.

Bug Fixes and Improvements

• Data Collections: Fixed issue when using a / or \ character in a Data Item name, detail page rendering would break.
• Data Collections: Fixed issue with 'Expired' Data Items being included in rendered items for a page.
• Data Collections: Fixed {{dataPublishDate}} tag to work as expected on Data Collection layouts.
• Data Collections: Fixed Z-Index issue when using a Date Picker for Date field in a Data Item.
• Data Collections: Fixed issue where Data Item Tags were not being saved.
• Data Collections: Fixed issue where tags were being inserted twice in layout HTML.
• Data Collections: Fixed issue when adding new Data Collection doesn't save "Include Site Map" selection.
• Data Collections: Fixed issue with data table columns maintain consistent spacing.
• Data Collections: Removed "Payment Required" option from the Settings tab, functionality has not been coded.
• Data Collections: Layouts tab > Edit Layout - Updated footer buttons to include: "Update"; "Save & Close"; and "Cancel".
• Data Collections: Fixed an issue where users were unable to select an image within a subfolder for a Data Collection "Image" field.
• Web Forms: Fixed Case details not displaying in Website Portal when custom fields are moved above Name and Email in HTML form.
• Web Forms: Changed tab label text from "Customize" to "Form HTML"
• Web Forms: Capitalize "D" in "Default" for the Confirmation Page dropdown when editing a Web Form.
• Contacts: Changed label from "Cell Phone" to "Mobile Phone" when adding a new Contact.
• Contacts: Changed label from "Cell Phone" to "Mobile Phone" when editing a Contact.
• Contacts: Added "Home Fax" field below Mobile Phone field when adding a new Contact.
• Contacts: Added "Home Fax" field below "Mobile Phone" field when editing a Contact.
• Contacts: Changed field label from 'Email Address' to 'UserName' when editing a contact > Subscription tab > Secure Zone panel.
• Email Marketing: Fixed error when adding a MailChimp API key.
• File Manager: Manage Images - Improved the layout by organizing folders into a grid-like pattern.
• File Manager: Fixed Gallery folders from displaying in Image Manager when duplicating a website.
• File Manager: Edited style of popup modal when deleting a file to match Image's modal.
• File Manager: Truncating long file names (80 characters) in File Manage Upload Document modal.
• File Manager: Truncating long filenames (80 characters) in Documents file manager.
• Page Template: Changed the 'Actions' icon to the Pencil icon in the Page Template data table.
• Web Pages: Fixed issue with Web Page publish date not work as expected.
• Web Pages: Fixed an issue when removing an "existing" Web Page doesn't trigger "Publish Button", This means the web page still is live or "Published" to the Internet. This will cause SEO issues.
• Web Pages: Changed tab text from "Page HTML" to "Page Content" when editing a Web Page.
• Media Downloads: Fixed issue where the Expiry Date for a Media Download item was not working.
• Media Downloads: Fixed layout issue where the Date Picker not visible in the Settings tab.
• Blog: Removed 'Enable RSS' option from the 'Settings' tab, functionality is part of future release.
• FAQ: Fixed layout issue where the Date Picker was not visible on the Settings tab.
• FAQ: Fixed issue with being unable to use pull down handle to resize Answer SummerNote box.
• FAQ: Fixed issue with Footer section not formatted like rest of platform.
• Users and Roles: Fixed error when adding a Website User for a website.
• Users and Roles: Added a New User modal and updated the modal layout.
• Users and Roles: Updated "Edit User" modal layout.
• Team Members: Fixed hyperlink hover titles with data table.
• System Settings: Updated test email message by removing the Agency logo. The sample email should only represent what a customer would see from form.
• System Settings: Fixed issue on the 'Pages' tab with 'Save' button not working when updating the "Message HTML" field.
• System Settings: Made various improvements to Messages tab.
• Security: Fixed issue where duplicate IPs would display in Blacklist table.
• Dashboard: Live Feed: improved sorting displaying newest submission at the top.
• Text Editor: Updated SummerNote text editor to use HTML <strong> tag instead of <b> when bolding text in WYSIWYG editor.
• Agency Portal: Fixed issue when duplicating an existing website Globals Settings (Header; Footer and CSS) items NOT being copied during site creation.
• Agency Portal: Fixed issue when duplicating an existing website the Web Pages were not being set to (draft) mode.
• Agency Portal: We removed the 'Roles and Users' page. Roles management has been moved to a new tab on the Agency Profile page. Users are already managed in Team Members.
• Agency Portal: Add Helper text below 'Primary Contact' field about account ownership.
• Agency Profile: Primary Contact field updated.
• Agency Profile: Create new Roles tab under the Agency Profile page.
• {{mediaFileSize}} tag: Render file size on website to a more readable format for users.
• Navigation: Changed menu text from "Roles and Users" to "Users and Roles" in side navigation.
