Content Holders are the perfect place to enter HTML coding that will need to appear on many pages with your website. This saves you time by allowing you to edit the content in one place. Preventing you from having to edit it in many places. This also prevents missing content edits.

  1. Start by entering a Content Holder Name in the name field.
  2. In the Publish Date/Expiry Date fields you can choose when this Content Holder will take effect and when it will expire. Publish Date will default to the current date.
  3. Check/uncheck the Enabled check box if you would like the Content Holder to be active on your website where referenced by the {bb_contentholder} tag.
  4. The Content field is where you will enter your code that you would like to be displayed on your website where this content holder is active.
  5. When you are finished click Save or click Cancel if you would like to discard your Content Holder and return to the Content Holders list.
  6. Next you will need to add the Content Holder to a Web Page; Page Template or even within another Content Holder. See Inserting a Content Holder article for more information.
