Let's go over some of the basics to get your events configured.

Create an Event Type

Event Types are a great way to organize your events in to categories, customize the calendar item color, and specify the registration form.

• Navigate to Content > Modules > Events.

• Then go to the Event Types tab and click on New Event Type.

• Enter in the name for the Event Type, choose a color, and select the registration form we created in the previous step.

• Click the Save button when done.

Place your Events to display

Place the {bb_events} tag in your Web Page, Page Template, Content Holder, or anywhere within the building blocks of BlueberryCMS. This tag supports a variety of attributes as well such as one of our most popular options being display="month" which will render a nice monthly calendar on your page. Or just by placing the tag by itself, it will show a basic list of events that you can customize. In this example, we created a regular Web Page called "Events" and placed in the {bb_events} tag.
